Inverse Problems in Tomography
The Inverse Problems in Tomography group focuses on the research and development of novel algorithms and methods for modeling and solving inverse problems in tomographic imaging. Tomographic imaging methods have found a wide range of applications, ranging from medical diagnosis and therapy as well as biomedical research to non-destructive testing and security screening. Continuous advances in medicine, physics, mathematics and computer science have stimulated the development of various novel tomographic imaging methods. Our research is centered on such novel imaging methods, for example:
- tomography of the anisotropic X-ray dark-field
- tomography for lightfield microscopy
